Deciding on which ski resort to stay at on your trip can be tricky, so why not enlist the help of the rich and famous? Many celebrities love to ski and there is no greater hallmark of quality than if somewhere that is favoured by A-list celebrities. Posh s most loved celebs. The famous resort in the French Alps is part of Les Trois Vallees (the largest linked ski areas in the world), so you really are spoilt for choice on the slopes regardless of your skill level.

Courchevel 1850 is not just a great choice for skiing, however. It is bursting at the seams with Michelin-starred restaurants, swanky cocktail bars, high-end shopping and the type of chalet catered accommodation you would expect to see in a James Bond film. This creates an amazing atmosphere, particularly under the stars at night. Glitz, glamour and 600km of pristine pistes awaits here. No wonder this place is a magnet for A-listers.

Located in the beautiful Savoie area of south-east France, this spectacular resort is famed for its natural beauty, high-quality skiing and a pulsating après scene. Many celebrities arrive to take advantage of its links to the neighbouring Tignes area (they combine for 300km of pistes), whilst others (and many Brits) choose this resort for the fun once the sun goes down.

There are dozens of great pubs, bars and clubs to choose from so there is always somewhere to go no matter what mood you are in. With Jamie Oliver as a frequent visitor to Val d'Isere, you may have guessed that it also has a superb dining scene. After a tough day of shredding powder, you are spoilt for choice with many resort and mountain restaurants serving tantalising cuisine within luxury settings.
